This GMM is an annual gathering attended by around 200 SEIPI member companies' CEOs, Presidents, Vice Presidents, General Managers, Managing Directors and other Senior Executives of the Philippine electronics industry with base of operations in the country. The GMM aims to keep them abreast with the latest technology trends and economic issues affecting the business climate of the Philippine electronics industry.

SEIPI will recognize persons or institutions that have supported and contributed to the development of the Philippine electronics and semiconductor industry. Previous partner of the industry awardees were former President Fidel V. Ramos, former PEZA Director General Lilia de Lima, Integrated Micro-electronics, Inc. (IMI) President Mr. Francis I. Ferrer (1999) & President & CEO Mr. Arthur Tan (2015), USAID-STRIDE Chief of Party Dr. David Hall, Automated Technology (Phil.) Inc. (ATEC) Chairman Mr. Rene Tanseco and other notable leaders from the private and public sector.
